Kevin Canty is the managing partner of Canty & Associates and has been licensed in the state of Hawaii since 2017.

 

Mr. Canty is also a partner of the affiliated firm, Riley Pasek Canty LLP, and has more than 13 years of experience representing clients throughout California. His practice focuses on all aspects of construction claims, including claims for defects in original construction, defects arising from condominium conversion, and insurance coverage issues related to those disputes.

Mr. Canty routinely assists his association clients

with responding to homeowner complaints regarding ineffective maintenance or repair. The majority of Mr. Canty’s practice involves large multi-million dollar complex matters concerning construction deficiencies; however, he also handles a broad range of legal issues including corporate governance, insurance coverage, governing document compliance and construction contract review.

For many years, Mr. Canty has participated in all aspects of litigation on behalf of his

clients, representing associations as small as six units and as large as two thousand homes. His experience with mediations, expert and percipient depositions, arbitration and trial preparation have made him a seasoned representative for his clients’ interests. More importantly, his experience allows Mr. Canty to successfully resolve cases on behalf of many clients without costly and expensive litigation.
